Traditionally, degassing rotors and shafts have been machined from graphite and have suffered from low service life as a result of high erosion and oxidation of the graphite. The rotary degassing shaft and rotor have been designed to overcome the short-comings associated with rotary degassing since they are manufactured from ceramic bonded materials having high wear and oxidation resistance.

Baffle Plate


Baffle Plate is manufactured in a proven wear and oxidation resistant material. It will help stop the reintroduction of hydrogen and aluminum oxide particles into the treated molten aluminum by reducing the circular metal flow caused by the rotation of the degassing rotor.
